At the candy manufacturer Carletti, four major energy saving projects have been completed in collaboration with Nordic Green Solutions:

We have increased our capacity by shortening the drying process from 19 to 12 hours for a batch of 4,500 kg of chocolate lenses. In other words, we use much less energy per kilogram produced, and we produce more goods per unit of time. So we have got a significant productivity increase in addition to the energy savings.

Before entering into an agreement with Nordic Green Solutions, they conduct a screening to identify the savings potential of the company. How many kilowatt-hours can you save, and how much subsidy will you be able to get from an energy company.
As a company, it is a good model. You get some figures on both the savings potential, on the necessary investments and on the payback period before you decide. So far, the calculations have held true, and some of the savings have proven to be greater than calculated.
